I WON 15 pumpkin blocks

Ok, this is a quilting thing, so if you aren't interested you can stop reading now.

At the quilt quild meeting this afternoon I won 15 (14") pumpkin quilt blocks. It was the guild's block of the month for October.

These are the two blocks I made. Not everyone's blocks looked exactly alike as we all used different fabrics.

I'm really pretty excited over this. I've not won blocks of the month before and it's going to be so easy to put a quilt together now, because all the blocks are made. I just have to decide on sashing, border(s), backing and binding.

This really gets me in the mood to get some sewing/quilting done.
