I've been wanting to learn to dye fabrics that will eventually go into a quilt. For Christmas one of the things I got was a small fabric dyeing kit. Saturday I finally had gotten enough of the supplies together (things that didn't come in the kit) and dyed some fabric.
Here is what I came up with.
Then Sunday I mixed some dyes from the ones I had and dyed more fabric.
Nicky didn't help with this project, though he was a bit disgruntled about being excluded, in my opinion cats and dyes don't really mix. ;-)
I plan on doing more dyeing in the near future, getting better at it and who knows, some day I might sell them.

WOW! It all looks beautiful! I particularly like the turquiose and blues. Have you washed them yet to see how colorfast they are?
